The Royal Room Staycation Fest – Julia Francis CD Release + Nicolle Swims (Black Ends)

Join us for our recurring series titled ‘Staycation Festival’, a series of streaming events at the Royal Room, co-hosted by Live Concerts Stream. Performers are live on The Royal Room stage and follow all Washington State Department of Health guidelines.

Julia Francis is a Seattle-based singer-songwriter. For this show she will be unleashing the release of her newest CD, ‘When You Get What You Want’ Her music is deeply rooted in the blues legacies of women like Gertrude “Ma” Rainey and Billie Holiday among others.

Nicolle Swims, of local gunk-pop trio Black Ends, takes immediate charge with her commanding guitar playing, channeling catchy riffs and bluesy sensibilities through warped effects, scuzzy tones, and math-rock jolti-ness.

All proceeds benefit Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County
