Bad Luck: Fundraiser for Wa Na Wari

Tuesday, August 25th at 7:30 pm PDT

Performing for the first time since lockdown, Bad Luck returns in full force for a one night fundraiser show! We believe Black Lives Matter, and all net proceeds from tonight’s show will support the Seattle based non-profit Wa Na Wari. We have an ambitious financial goal tonight of $2500 folks, and we appreciate your support. During this fundraiser show Bad Luck will match the first $500 in donations, and the fine folks at Seattle Sound Repair will match the next $250 in donations! Tonight we’ll play pieces from our latest album Four, plus new songs and improvisations. As you can imagine, Chris and Neil are itching to play for you, and we hope you’ll join us tonight in support of this incredible organization.

-Hosts rotating exhibits by local and regional Black artists
-Provides a space for workshops, performances, and lectures
-Convenes changemakers, elders, youth, neighbors, and artists for collaboration, innovation, and community organizing.
-Operates an oral history studio for gathering and sharing the stories of Seattle’s historically Black Central District
